Hi, my name is Ashley Hernandez. I am a senior at California High School and I have been a 4-year varsity starter. There, I have won offensive and defensive player of the year, as well as being 1st team two years in a row. I am a right handed centerfielder/ outfielder, but I bat from the left side. I am a lefty-power hitter and slapper and I am quick and smart around the bases. I have played competitive travel ball since I was 12, always playing for the best teams and coaches such as Rob Weil, Ed Mulipola, and Mike Rogers. Outside of softball, I go to the gym or hang out with my friends. Academically, I have always strived to do my best and I currently have a non-weighted GPA of 4.0 over my last four years, giving me the opportunity to have made the top 25 in the class of 2024, four years in a row. My favorite subject is science and my favorite hobby is writing. I will be going into Boise State with an undecided major, as I am interested in three very different careers. Business and finance (marketing), architecture and design, or something in the health field.
